My Turn

At 32 I finally came to the realization I would never be able support myself as I would like to be supported. I've been used and abused most of my life, it was time to change my future. Men used me until they got bored then threw me aside, just once I wanted to throw them aside first. Not bad looking but looks wouldn't last and not wanting to end up in a gutter. I decided to act, unknown how I could at first, but reading stories on this website gave me the idea I chose to act upon. Find a financially stable man, who was single no children from previous relationships. Have a child or children for him for a better life for myself. Easier said than done, but I decided I needed to move away from current place to another place I was unknown and start again, I'd a little nest egg of just over 5 thousand dollars. I started it as insurance for when I got dumped and added to it every chance I got. My then boyfriend was already showing the signs my days with him were numbered. So, I started looking where I could go, I found a place that looked promising. When my boyfriend gave me $500 get lost, so I did. Quicker than he thought it would take me, he had gone out and I left. He returned expecting to still find me hoping he would change his mind. He rang my cellphone, I was on a bus, I told him he told me to get lost, and I don't stay where I'm not wanted. I deleted all contacts on my cellphone, smashed it with a rock and threw it into garbage bin at small the bus had stopped at. Then when I arrived at my destination, I got another cellphone, got a job at a diner to keep me until I found my target. It happened sooner than I expected only a month in my job I met who I thought was a perfect match for my plan. He was 51 & single never married, polite and well-liked by everyone. Most importantly he was loaded, what I saw of him matched my plan profile of the ideal man I was looking for. I tried getting friendly with him and succeeded, but he was easy going and so that wasn't so much of a success. I found out he liked to read and would visit the local library on weekends, so I started going there as well, by watching what books he took out I gained what interested him. History mostly and so I read up on military history but realized I would have to specialize if I was to be convincing. As there were several civil wars sites around the region, I decided to specialize on it. Reading books and watching whatever documentaries, I could access. I was fairly confident I would be able to seem fairly knowledgeable, at least in short conversations anyway. So confident I was fairly ready, I asked about book I had seen advertised online. They didn't have it, yet I already knew as I had checked already before. My target was at the counter and asked me why I was interested in that book, I just said I liked reading history, mostly civil war history. He said he had just gotten that very book himself, no invite or anything else at that time. But at least I was on his radar you could say. He already knew I worked at the diner as he had seen me there many times. On his visits to the diner, he would talk with me and finally he said he was finished the book which had started us talking. I visited his home and stayed discussing the civil war history, we bonded over several months. Finally, I pushed it a bit harder, by asking why he hadn't any close family. He said he wasn't women wanted in a man too nerdy was his expression. Not to me I responded, anyway he asked me out on a date than another. Finally, we slept together and then again, then when I was thing of trying to get pregnant to trap him into marriage. He blindsided me by straight out asking me to marry him, I was shocked at first. But I accepted as neither of us had close family we married quickly, all precautions stopped during sex, and I got pregnant after a couple of months. We now have a daughter and are quite happy with our marriage, my interest in the civil wars has kept up and I'm also started learning more about the war of independence. I've surprised myself somewhat I started learning history to get a man to marry me but have found an interest in history that I enjoy learning more about. It also helps not having to work just to get by. I was surprised my plan actually worked.
