Casual Friendship

I met her (34) at the supermarket, she worked there. I saw her every time I did my weekly shopping, and we were friendly. I'm single and was 38 at t6he time and not in any relationship at the time. I wasn't trying to pick her up or anything like that, it was just friendly conversation. I also thought she was just being friendly because it was her job. I wasn't the greatest with women. I'd met her out at a park, and she was with her 4year old daughter, and we had fun together. Anyway, after a few months I saw she was upset and so asked why she was upset. The supermarket had a new manager, and he was asshole, he told her there would be more no special arrangements for failures like her. She worked as rostered by him or get fired, she was just getting by, and the previous manger allowed her to work so she could also look after her daughter. The new manager made her roster where she wouldn't be able to look after her daughter and would have pay for a lot more childcare. When told that he suggested she give her daughter up for adoption or find a new job. I decided I would help her, I've a 4bed house I keep clean myself and offered her a job as housekeeper. It wasn't a live-in position it was just to give her extra money with no conditions. She came by the next day to check out what was required, she like my offer. But it was too far from her rented room and not on any direct bus route. So, as she looked even more depressed, I said I'd spare rooms if she wanted to be a live-in housekeeper. No sexual thoughts had crossed my mind, I was also closer to the supermarket then her rental was. So, she decided to chance it as they say, and we lived together for several months no sex involved. I really enjoyed them living with me and I enjoyed playing games with the daughter. I bought the daughter a puppy, I was out saw it and bought it on the spur of the moment. Then she was fired by the manager, not just her several others as he had installed self-serve checkouts. But she was settled in my home as housekeeper, and we had more time together. Which one night led to sex and marriage, as it dawned on me, I'd finally found my soulmate.
