Found my new perfect companion

I was left alone with the passing of my wife due to cancer. My children were grown and out making their own lives. I saw them regularly, but always felt alone and I didn't date or try to find another woman. It wasn't the memory of my wife stopping me, as she had told to go on with my life after she passed. But I just couldn't be bothered was the main reason, I'd had met my wife at high school, and we married before both going to university. She was my whole life; a void I thought couldn't be filled again. I'd retired from my company when my wife was confirmed as having cancer, giving it to my children to run. I couldn't even be bothered returning to see how it was going. I lived in my large home 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and was alone at night as the 5 staff only came during the day and only 2 on Sundays. The gardens were maintained by a garden contractor. I'd a personal assistant who saw to my mail and appointments and even answered the phone for me. She also lived away from my house; she is quiet and glides in and out without making a noise. Then her home was bought by the city to enlarge a road intersection, and she was having trouble finding a suitable new place. Her old house was less than 10minutes walk from my home and nothing she could afford was closer than an hour. It was my daughter who suggested she move in with me on one of her frequent visits. I had no objection; it didn't concern me either way. My PA with some gentle prodding from my daughter agreed, she hadn't ever married and is good looking for her age and dresses modestly, like an old-style librarian in the old movies without the stern expression. My daughter helped her settle in and was a daily visitor till she was happy there was no problems. My PA is thought of as sort of aunt by my grandchildren. They've known her all their lives and are used to seeing her when visiting me. Then the pandemic started, my life changed somewhat quickly as with the lockdown no staff to maintain my house and cook my meals. Except for my PA, who did everything until she caught Covid. It was just what I needed to bring me out of my daze, I'd to step up and do everything for myself and my PA. I also realized I was very frightened of losing her and was so very happy when she recovered. As I said I'd to doing everything and that even meant bathing her. As she got better, I didn't have to that anymore, but I couldn't look at her anymore with a detached view. I'd realized she was a sexy woman and the juices as they say started to flow again. With her fully recovered and lockdown lifted, and my life was returning to what it had been before the pandemic. I had a different view of my PA and decided to try my luck as they say. I actually asked her out on a date, she accepted after asking my daughter's opinion. My daughter-in-law also told her to accept, so she had the family approval. Even to the extent of them helping her dress for the date. One date led to more and finally we became lovers. Then my family decided we weren't getting any younger and started pushing us to marry. Every time they visited, they wanted to know the wedding date. Finally, I asked my PA/lover to marry me, and she accepted. The next time my family visited and asked the question I gave them a date in June 2022. They were somewhat shocked at first, not actually believing us at the time, thinking we were having them on. As my now wife always kept my daughter and daughter-in-law in the loop as they say. She hadn't this time and only actually then seeing the engagement ring on her finger, did they believe us. I'm more out and about these days and actually visit my children and their families. Always with my new wife and one other major change has occurred, my grandchildren stay with me when their parents want alone time. Before it was always their other grandparents, my youngest grandchild (6) says I'm more fun now. I must admit she is right.
