Brother's shocking secret

I've always thought of my brother as quiet and possibly gay and as the older I (35) got married first and moved interstate to start my family. Soon after our parents also moved closer to me. Leaving my brother (32) behind he had a good job and career and had already bought his own home. Fast forward a few years, I hadn't seen my brother very much, I was busy with my 3 children and looking after my husband. Then I had to return to my old hometown as a longtime friend had passed away. I arranged to stay with my brother who was single as far as I and parents knew. On arriving at his house, which was twice the size of mine, I wondered why he had such big house for a single guy. I was met at the door by a young woman who told her name was Ruth 23 and I assume she was the housekeeper/maid. I met an older woman Kath 41 in the kitchen and there was another younger woman Lorrie 20, and she was pregnant. There were also 2 children around 3 years old and I wondered why my brother had a housekeeper and 2 maids and one being pregnant also. My prejudice towards my brother never let me think of the obvious, my brother was the father of the 2 children and the unborn baby. I was totally shocked when my brother introduced me to his wives, the mother and her 2 daughters. One of the children was with Kath and the other with Ruth, Lorrie was carrying her first child. All were happy with the arrangement, and I later found out my parents knew of his family, but as I hadn't shown much interest in brother's life, they didn't tell me about and left it as a surprise for me to find out. Once I got over the shock and got to know my three sisters-in-law. I like them all and would keep in touch thereafter and on my return, I told my husband, and he said lucky man. But quickly added, but I prefer you over all other women.
